Surveillance: Two Teens Assaulted And Robbed In Hartranft

PHILADELPHIA -

Chilling surveillance shows an assault and robbery that occurred on October 6, 2013, at 2:30 am.

Two teens were walking on Dauphin Street towards Broad Street. At the 2300 block of North Watts Street one suspect grabbed one of the victims and slammed her on the ground. Surveillance shows the other teen trying hard to plead with the suspect.

While on the ground one of the suspects took the girl's purse, containing identification, check card and keys. The other suspect attempted to take the other girl's cell phone but failed to do so.

Both suspect then fled the area north on Watts Street. Both complainants suffered minor injuries from this incident.

Suspect Description:

Suspect #1: Black male, 20 years-of-age, wearing a purple shirt and dark colored jeans.
Suspect #2: Black male, 20 years-of-age, wearing a white t-shirt, dark colored shorts, short hair and tattoos on upper chest.
