New Recommendations For Electronics Use In Young Kids

The American Academy Of Pediatrics released new recommendations this morning for parents struggling with how much and when kids should be allowed to use electronic devices.

Here's what doctors say:

  • No devices during mealtime or after bedtime.
  • Devices should be kept out of bedrooms.
  • Limit the number of hours on any screen to less than two hours a day.
  • Children under two should have no screen time whatsoever.

What prompted these new recommendations? Doctors say that there is a link between using electronics and problems at school, cyberbullying, obesity and lack of sleep.
