PHOENIX -

A truck slammed into a home near 47th and Clarendon Avenues so hard, that it almost came out the other side on Friday night.

A 65-year-old woman was in her kitchen around 9:30 p.m. when she heard a loud noise and felt her house shake, according to a friend of the homeowner.

When she stepped outside, she saw a Ford F-150 truck inside her home.

The driver was reportedly injured and unable to get out of the truck.

When police and fire officials arrived, they helped the driver out and took him to a hospital for treatment. He had minor injuries.

According to witnesses, the man seemed extremely intoxicated.

Phoenix Police confirm the man was impaired and arrested.

The truck demolished three rooms in the house; it stopped inches before going straight through it.
