KINGMAN, Ariz. (AP) - Kingman police say a teenager was arrested after getting trapped in a store he allegedly tried to burglarize.

The Kingman Daily Miner reports that officers responding to a burglary alarm early Sunday morning found a 19-year-old youth inside the store.

According to police, officers found William J. Henderson smoking a cigarette in a walk-in cooler.

Police say he had broken through the roof to enter the store, but could not reach the hole to get out after finding out that the store's doors were locked from the outside.

According to a police spokeswoman, Henderson intended to steal more than $1,700 worth of cigarettes, lighters and alcohol.

Henderson faces charges of burglary, theft and criminal damage. He hasn't yet entered a plea and doesn't yet have a lawyer.
