Missing grandmother's car found in Henry Co.

ATLANTA -

Henry County authorities say they've found the car belonging to a missing Atlanta grandmother, but so far, there is no sign of her.   Lucilla Harris, 72, has been missing since last Friday.

Harris' family tells FOX 5 she suffers from dementia, and she doesn't have a cell phone.  She drives a gray Saturn Ion with Georgia tags AVH 3948, but usually doesn't stray too far from her Fulton County home.

On Friday night, police say her Saturn was discovered off of White Castles Drive in Ellenwood.  They say the vehicle is believed to have been abandoned since sometime around Monday afternoon.  Police are canvassing the neighborhood where it was found looking for witnesses who might have seen Harris, and they plan to continue searching nearby on Saturday.  A K-9 unit also searched the area where the car was discovered, but didn't find anything.

Family members don't want to speculate too much on what happened to her, but worry she is out there cold and confused.

Anyone who sees Harris should call 911.

Prosecutors considered him their key witness, a longtime Gwinnett developer given immunity to spill what he knew about corruption inside county government. David Jenkins testified before a Gwinnett grand jury in 2010. He also met multiple times with prosecutors. Those interviews were videotaped. Four years later, prosecutors agreed to a no contest plea bargain with former commissioner Kevin Kenerly on one count of bribery. He will serve 10 years on probation and pay a $10,000 fine.
