PHILADELPHIA -

Police are searching for three men wanted in connection to a home invasion in Southwest Philadelphia.

It happened Wednesday night on the 6700 block of Trinity Street.

Police say the men entered the home through an unlocked door on the second floor. They tied up the 71-year-old victim inside and ransacked the house.

Describing what happened, Philadelphia Police Lt. Johnny Walker said, "Two males going through the house, the other is dealing with him, zip-ties him at one point he tells the victim don't do anything or I'll kill you"

The men got away with some small change and a cell phone.

Police think the suspects were looking for guns because the victim has a son who is home from the Army.

FOX 29's Dawn Timmeney reported live Thursday morning from outside police headquarters with more details.
