35-year-old Kristy Ryan Mcdermed of Canton Township made a confession to police, admitting to doing something pretty sneaky - not to a stranger - but to the man she said 'I do' to.

What she did, per Canton Township police, involved Visine and an unknown brand of bleach. Detectives tell Fox 2 Mcdermed was mad and she did it because she and her husband were having marital problems.

When he used the drops his eye started to burn immediately and he caught that this was a unique concoction that should not be consumed. He's going to recover.

Canton police didn't close the case. They later found out that the wife put an ad on Craigslist looking for someone to assault her husband.

Mcdermed told police she had been dealing with some domestic issues, some disputes with her husband in the past. In the end, she was the one arrested and charged with domestic violence.
