NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - The parents of a four-year-old girl killed by an unlicensed teen behind the wheel of his parents car on the Upper West Side are expecting another child.

Sofia Russo, 27, is 18 weeks pregnant and is scheduled to give birth in May, one month before the one year anniversary of Ariel Russo's death.

The girl was struck last June by an SUV.

An investigation found human error was to blame for a delay in dispatching an ambulance to the accident scene.

The Russo family has filed a wrongful death suit against New York City and criminal charges are pending against the driver.
