PHILADELPHIA -

A Philadelphia native finishes up a 70-mile journey. He trekked through the city to try to bring an end to violence.

Michael Ta'bon walked ten miles a day for a week and sported a sign on his back asking people to "Fight Hate With Love."

His journey wrapped up, appropriately, in love park.he says he was motivated by the murders of his friends, neighbors, and his girlfriend.

"Fight hate with love. All this killing, everybody killing somebody, gotta stop it," he said.

Ta'bon says his journey managed to bring people together and at least pause for a moment to think about what's going in our city and in the world.
