ATLANTA -

More equipment is missing from an Atlanta water department facility.

A $6,000 separator tank and a $4,000 industrial compressor are among the items stolen in the latest theft at an Atlanta water facility.

FOX 5 has reported on previous thefts that have cost taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Atlanta Department of Watershed Commissioner Joanne Macrina said steps have been taken to prevent thefts.

"We have many steps in place. We have done all that we can to slow this down and I believe that we have," Macrina said.

Last week, the city halted searches of employees' vehicles as they left water facilities.
