Crews work to fix massive sinkhole in downtown Detroit

DETROIT (WJBK) -- Crews are working to fix a massive sinkhole in downtown Detroit just blocks away from the North American International Auto Show.

FOX 2's Roop Raj says the sinkhole opened at W. Jefferson and Randolph Saturday and is about 14 feet deep.

Crews have Randolph closed at Jefferson, along with the two westbound lanes of Jefferson. Motorists who use I-375 to get downtown are being asked to use the Lodge Freeway instead.

Officials say it could take a few days to repair.
