ELOY, Ariz. -

Authorities rescued 32 dogs from an alleged hoarding house in Silverbell Estates, southwest of Eloy.

Pinal County Animal Care and Control officers got a tip that the animals were in the home.

"This is clearly a case of hoarding," said Animal Care and Control Director Kaye Dickson. "The house had urine stains on the walls and many of the dogs had matted fur and were not in good condition."

The dogs are believed to be poodle mixes.

PCACC staff will evaluate the dogs and decide what do to from there.

The investigation will be handed over to the County Attorney's Office where they'll decide if charges will be filed.
