We had all kind of problems with the power outages from last week's ice storm. Several counties surrounding Philadelphia were hit really hard.
With wet, heavy snow in the forecast, the concern that there could be more power outages is very much on the people's minds.
But, so far, the utility companies are staying on top of the problems. While 14,000 were without service at one point this morning, that figure is now down to fewer than 6,000.

At lunchtime, 4,333 of PECO's 1.5 million customers are without service, the company's highest number of the day. Almost 2,400 of those are in Bucks and Montgomery Counties.
The snow began falling first to our south, and that's where some of the higher outage numbers were this morning.
But companies like Delmarva and JCP&L have restored power to thousands. Both had numbers in the thousands but are down to fewer than 150 each.
Other utility companies are continuing to fare pretty well, at this point.
