ATLANTA - The 19-month-old child that was asleep in his crib near a side door when members of the Habersham County Special Response Team used a flash bang grenade to enter his family's Cornelia home is said to be clinging to life.

A family spokesperson said Bounkham "Bou Bou" Phonesavahn is fighting for his life. He has lost function in one lung and is still in an induced coma.

After two surgeries, the baby's future is at best uncertain. His parents are asking for the community's support.
