Celebrities Speak Out For "Let Girls Learn" Campaign

Posted: Updated:

Some celebrities have thrown their support behind a new government campaign which highlights the sometimes dangerous lengths girls around the world go to get an education.

Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Garner and Josh Duhamel are just some of the stars who are helping the government spread the simple message of "Let Girls Learn" in a new PSA campaign.

The Let Girls Learn PSA is a collaboration between United States government and the United States Agency for International Development.

They are encouraging people to get involved with the fight for girls to go to school.

As part of the effort, USAID is also providing more than $240-million for new programs around the world.

They also want people to share their stories about the importance of education for women using the hashtag, #LetGirlsLearn.
