Live the life you want

The clichés about life are endless: love the life you live, don't forget to live while making a living, even Forest Gump's simple words resonated with audiences everywhere: "Life is a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get."

While that may be true, it's up to you to live the life you want to live, according to NYU-certified life coach Anna Goldstein. She says one of the biggest mistakes her clients make is thinking that happiness is external. But really it's a state of mind, she says.

If that sounds like mumbo jumbo to you, it's not. Anna says anyone can be happy every single day.

What if you don't enjoy your work? Well, you wouldn't be in the minority. A recent Gallup poll found that a mere 13 percent are happy with their jobs yet most of us have to work in order to make that cash and become successful.

The Oxford Dictionary defines success as "the attainment of popularity or profit."

For some, looking on the bright side isn't easy. While for others, it comes as natural as the sunshine on your face.

"I did not have sexual relations with that woman." That whopper nearly cost Bill Clinton his presidency. But most of our lies history ignores. And for that, reason humans everywhere will probably go right on telling them. Americans fib hundreds of millions of times every day, at an estimated 1.67 lies per person, according to a Michigan State study. But to fabricate a lie, our minds and bodies must work harder than they would to tell a truth they already know.
