Free Dental Care in Alpharetta Saturday

Posted: Updated:
ALPHARETTA, Ga. - Most people dread going to the dentist. But on Saturday, June 28th, hundreds will line up, some more than 24 hours in advance, to get an appointment.

The Jones Bridge Dental Office, in Alpharetta will hold its Sixth Annual Free Dental Day this weekend. They're expecting to service 200-250 people who desperately need work done, but can't afford it.

Each year, the event is held around the fourth of July. Dr. Leo Yelizarov and his staff say it's an opportunity to give back.

"We commit this day to freedom in America and the idea behind it, is we want to do it here. A lot of people go overseas to help and that's nice, but we believe people here need help too," said Dr. Yelizarov.

Over the years, Dr. Yelizarov, his team of Dentists, sponsors and volunteers have helped more than 750 people in need and given more than $250,000 worth of worth of dentistry. They provide cleanings, fillings, and extractions.

The event will take place on Saturday June 28th from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Service will be provided on a first come first serve basis.
