Man stabbed at barber shop on Detroit's west side

DETROIT (WJBK) - A person has been stabbed at a barber shop in Detroit, according to police.

Police tell Fox 2 the stabbing happened shortly after 2 p.m. Thursday at Bang 'N Blends Barbershop on Grand River Avenue near the Southfield Freeway.

We're told a barber got into an argument with a 74-year-old customer, pulled out a knife and cut the older man multiple times.

The suspect, who is said to be in his 30s, ran away along westbound Grand River. Authorities are still searching for him.
