Wild animal attacks beloved Coweta Co. dog

Posted: Updated:

A Coweta County woman says her beloved dog was snatched right out from under her nose by a predator.

The woman says it was a huge cat that ripped her Miniature Pinchser away in her Timberland Trail neighborhood. She says she’s worried about kids and pets in the area.

Josephine Young says a dark and fast animal bolted out of the woods and snatched her dog “Max.”

Animal Control told Young it was likely a coyote, but she disagrees.

“Between me and God, I’m a God fearing Christian, that was not a coyote, it was a cat,” said Young.

Neighbors tell FOX 5 they agree with Young that the creature is not a coyote.
