Some 200 mobile homes at the Surfside Estates mobile home park in Flagler Beach, were damaged by Hurricane Matthew.

Residents told FOX 35 almost everyone evacuated from the mobile home park, and they’re glad they are safe.

"We usually evacuate for a tropical storm, we had to evacuate years ago with the fires; this was the worst," said Carmela, whose home was badly damaged.  "I have evacuated maybe three or four times in the 20 years that I’m here. This definitely was the worst.”

The Surfside Estates manager said she thinks it will take months to clean up from the storm, but still no word on how much it will cost.

Neighbors told FOX 35 there is a GoFundMe page set up to help residents of the mobile home park.
