Tracking coronavirus: Florida adds 12,478 new COVID-19 cases, 87 additional deaths
ORLANDO, Fla. - Here's a look at the latest news on coronavirus in the state, around the nation and across the globe.
4:00 p.m. -- According to data released by the Florida Department of Health, there have been 87 deaths among Florida residents who tested positive since Saturday's count. Those deaths have been reported in Alachua, Bay, Brevard, Broward, Charlotte, Collier, Columbia, Miami-Dade, Duval, Escambia, Hillsborough, Indian River, Liberty, Marion, Okaloosa, Orange, Palm Beach, Pasco, Pinellas, Santa Rosa, Sarasota, Seminole, St. Lucie, Sumter, Union and Volusia counties.
2:20 p.m. -- Starting Monday, Walmart and Sam’s Club stores say all customers must wear masks, as COVID-19 cases rise. READ MORE.
11:50 a.m. -- The Florida Department of Health reported 12,478 new coronavirus cases on Sunday and an additional 87 deaths. The total number of cases since March is now 350,047 and the total number of deaths is 4,982. Health officials said on Saturday, 11.85 percent of new cases tested positive for the virus. 10 a.m. -- The Florida Division of Emergency Management closed down part of its facilities after 12 employees tested positive for coronavirus. READ MORE.

7 a.m. -- The Florida Department of Health reported over 10,328 new cases of COVID-19 and 90 additional deaths on Saturday. The new numbers bring Florida's total number of cases to 337,569 since March. The number of deaths since the start of the pandemic is now 4,895. Test results for more than 92,600 individuals were reported to the department of health.
