6:30 p.m. -- A Sanford restaurant has temporarily shut its doors after one of its employees tested positive for coronavirus.

5:00 p.m -- Florida Governor Ron DeSantis says he will not make face masks mandatory statewide, despite the rise in coronavirus cases. Read more HERE.
3 p.m. -- A Target spokeswoman said the store on Sand Lake Road in Orlando was deep-cleaned and sanitized after two employees tested positive for COVID-19. READ MORE.
2 p.m. -- Vice President Mike Pence is calling off a planned bus tour in Florida to benefit his and President Donald Trump's re-election as the state experiences a surge in confirmed coronavirus cases.

11 a.m. -- Beaches in Miami-Dade County will close for the July Fourth weekend -- less than a month after reopening -- and gatherings of 50 or more will be prohibited due to recent surges in coronavirus cases.
