Caroline Coles
Caroline Coles joined the FOX 35 Orlando team in June 2023 as an anchor and reporter.
Coles most recently served as the breaking news, fill-in anchor and traffic reporter for WPBF 25 News in West Palm Beach, Florida. During her time there she pitched and produced several Project CommUNITY stories, a franchise focused on reporting on divisive issues effecting local communities, bridging the divided, and improving community relations.
Before that, Coles was a reporter and anchor in Salisbury, Maryland. Coles has also worked with veteran news journalist Ann Curry at NBC News in New York City.
Coles earned her master's degree from Columbia University's School of Journalism and graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism from Howard University.
Caroline was born a sweet Atlanta, Georgia peach. However, her family has also lived in Tennessee and Maryland, before eventually relocating to Parkland, Florida, which is her now chosen home. Caroline was raised in a very close-knit family, where she's the middle of 5 children. She's most grateful to live in Central Florida now and feels extremely blessed to still be close to home.
Caroline has a great sense of curiosity of what happens in her local community and around the world. She's a firm believer in the power of journalism and community service.
When Coles isn't working, you can find her working out, doing Pilates, worshiping at church, working with nonprofits, and hosting local community programs. Caroline is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ).
