Drew Smith, Drew the Disney Dude joins FOX 35's Garrett Wymer live via Zoom moments after Walt Disney World revealed their reopening date for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom, along with a reduced height limit and brand-new track.

On April 6, 2026, at 1:57 p.m., Artemis II set the record for humans' farthest distance from Earth. Half-way into their 10-day mission around the moon, astronauts reflected on the historic moment. 

Florida Congressman Mike Haridopolos, representing much of Florida's Space Coast joins FOX 35's Garrett Wymer live via Zoom to discuss the status of the Artemis II moon mission and his continued advocacy for NASA and the U.S. space programs during his time in Congress, as well as working with the Trump administration despite their proposed budget cuts to NASA this year.

The Ashland High School Marching Band spent four years organizing a trip to perform at Disney World. They finally got all the money together, got on a bus, and drove down to the most magical place on earth, but when they got to their trailer Sunday morning, they saw many of their instruments disappeared.

NASA has many plans in store following the launch of Artemis II. After the 10-day mission, NASA is planning the Artemis III and IV launces as well as a highly anticipated moon base. 

Viewers are camped out a Jetty Park to catch a glimpse of the historic Artemis II launch on April 1. 

Engineers resolved a hardware issue affecting communication with the Space Launch System’s flight termination system, clearing a key safety concern ahead of launch, officials said. The problem had prevented ground controllers from sending a destruct signal if the rocket veered off course. A follow-up confidence test confirmed the system is now ready to support liftoff.

Visitors lined the Max Brewer Bridge in Titusville to catch a glimpse of the Artemis II l launch from Cape Canaveral Space Station. Though facing sideways rain, people are camped along the sides hours before the launch. 

Visitors traveled from all over to see the historic Artemis II launch from Space View Park. FOX 35's Baileigh Bockover spoke with a family who are excited to see the rocket blast into space. 

People camped out a Jetty Park in anticipation of seeing the Artemis II launch on April 1, booked a site a year in advance. Campers described the event as a mix of excitement and nervousness. 

Dr. Sharon Cobb, the Associate Program Manager for NASA's SLS program joins FOX 35's Garrett Wymer live via Zoom to preview some of the research and goals of the Artemis 2 rocket launch to the moon, scheduled for tomorrow, April 1 with the launch window opening at 6:24 p.m.
