A new study has found that people, unknowingly or not, did engage in some sort of risky behavior moments before being attacked by an alligator. Researchers from the University of Florida (UF) say humans are largely to blame for swimming in bodies of water known to have gators or for walking dogs along ponds that may contain the reptiles.
