Two officers with the Daytona Beach Police Department were suspended for 40 hours after allegedly locking their son in a jail cell because he had an accident while potty training. Daytona Beach police said Monday both officers already served their sentences. They were punished for bringing scrutiny to the department. The Department of Families and Children found the allegations unfounded and prosecutors declined to file charges, court records show.
