"This is a very big responsibility and the voters of Orange County chose me to proceed to the next level." He said he's excited to see Orange County reach its potential of becoming one of the greatest counties in America. Messina, a businessman himself, is looking to make Orange County a place where "children, families and businesses thrive."

Russell -- currently serving as Orange County Clerk of Courts -- wants to create a community the younger generation would want to call home. She's invested in affordability for residents and creating a stable workforce for future generations. "We have to move our private and public sector jobs to make sure people can afford to thrive in this county, not just survive," Russell said.
