A pilot escaped injury Monday evening after a small plane crashed near the intersection of Grant Road and Babcock Street Southeast in Palm Bay, authorities said.

Authorities are searching for a hit-and-run driver who seriously injured a well-known Central Florida triathlete over the weekend. Gabrielle Suver a top local competitor and 2024 Track Shack Running Series winner, was airlifted to the hospital after being forced off the road while cycling Saturday morning in Clermont.

Several people were injured Sunday after a boat crashed into rocks near Jetty Park, according to authorities. The crash happened around 6:20 p.m., according to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
