The mayor of Melbourne wants to rename a street after Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, who was shot and killed during a speaking engagement on a Utah campus last week. The proposal came after a local business owner posted about Kirk's death on her personal social media account, sparking online scrutiny. That business owner apologized, and Mayor Paul Alfrey visited the businesses, and encouraged others to learn from the situation and to continue to support that business.
