Cloud cover and afternoon showers brought lower, more comfortable temperatures to Central Florida, though localized flooding remains a concern through Sunday evening. A brief break in rain intensity will bring drier air and seasonable low 90s to the region early in the week, with storm chances dropping to around 30% for Monday and Tuesday.

Finally, our temperatures are looking a little "cooler" across Central Florida! Meteorologist T.J. Springer says highs will be close to average Sunday but we'll see more storms. Tune in for the timeline and to see when rain chances increase again.

The steaminess is sticking around as we kick off our weekend, but thankfully, temps are slightly cooler than where they were earlier this week. Temperatures this past week felt like 112 and above.
