Cat 5 Hurricane Melissa makes landfall in Jamaica
Hurricane Melissa made landfall over New Hope, Jamaica on Tuesday afternoon as a powerful and destructive Category 5 storm. Melissa made landfall around 1 p.m. near New Hope, Jamaica with sustained winds of 185 MPH, the National Hurricane Center said.
