NHC monitoring potential system in Atlantic

The National Hurricane Season is monitoring a potential system in the Atlantic that could possible become a non-tropical low over the next 48 hours. Right now, it seems unlikely that the system will become a subtropical or tropical cyclone. However, it could produce gusty winds, dangerous surf, and rip currents across southwestern United States.
