Defense attorney Jeffrey Wiggs said he plans to appeal the guilty verdict against his client, Laurie Shaver. A jury found Shaver guilty of second-degree murder in the death of her husband, Michael. Prosecutors alleged that Laurie shot Michael in the head, buried him in the backyard of their home, then pretended to be him to friends, family, and coworkers using his cell phone and Facebook page.
