Mom sentenced to 20 years for abandoning baby Florida beach

Shamika Mitchell was sentenced to 20 years with credit for time served. Authorities said Mitchell abandoned her baby on the beach in 2023. It was one of her four other children who called the police as they were desperately searching for their baby brother.
