Lawsuit alleges AI chatbot contributed to teen's suicide

Megan Garcia's son, Sewell Setzer III, died by suicide on Feb. 28, 2024, after shooting himself in the head at their Orlando home, moments after exchanging messages with an AI chatbot, a lawsuit said.
