Last-minute scrub for NASA, SpaceX Crew-11

NASA and SpaceX delayed the Crew-11 launch to the ISS at T-minus one minute before liftoff on July 31 due to cloud cover violating weather safety criteria. The next launch opportunity is scheduled for Friday, August 1, at 11:43 a.m. EDT from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Crew-11 will send four astronauts on a six-month ISS mission to support scientific research, technology demonstrations, and preparations for future deep space exploration. Dr. Don Platt, Department Head, Aerospace, Physics & Space Sciences, Florida Institute of Technology joins FOX 35's Garrett Wymer live via Zoom to break down this last-second scrub of Crew-11, what changed so close to the launch to delay the mission and what happens behind the scenes with such a late scrub.
