Florida woman wins 2025 Python Challenge after capturing 60 snakes

A Central Florida woman has been crowned champion of the 2025 Python Challenge after catching 60 Burmese pythons during the 10-day competition in the Everglades. Taylor Stanberry, a state-contracted python removal specialist, beat out 933 other participants to take home the $10,000 prize.
