'Threw her to the floor': Care worker accused of elderly abuse

A former employee at Spring Hills Lake Mary is accused of elderly abuse against a woman she was tasked with caring for. Springs Hills told FOX 35 that the employee was suspended, then terminated. According to the woman's daughter, the aide lifted her mom's arms up and pushed her to the floor, then left her on the floor. The woman, Gene, is at the facility because she has dementia.
