Shelter turns to crochet to find home for longest resident

Southeast Volusia Humane Society is using stuffed animal doppelgangers of pets looking for their forever homes. Volunteer Jissell Ballard crocheted a miniature version of Henny Penny who has been at the shelter for more than 700 days. She hopes the crafty approach will help the shelter get more people to adopt the pets looking to be adopted.
