TSA at TPA goes private: What is TSA Gold+

Tampa International Airport has opted to use Transportation Security Administration’s new “Gold+” privatization model, becoming one of the first to do so. TSA has yet to select contractors to participate in the program, but the change is targeted for May 31, 2027.
