Forecast: Tropical Storm Amanda forms in the Pacific

While the Atlantic basin is quiet and Florida faces no threat of tropical weather over the next week and nothing looming on the horizon, the Western Hemisphere's first tropical storm of the storm has formed, in the eastern Pacific. Meteorologist Brooks Garner is tracking it.
