Gov. DeSantis disagrees with sheriffs council's immigration proposal
Florida's State Immigration Enforcement Council met Monday and voted to send a letter to Congress and President Donald Trump asking them to work on a citizen path for noncriminal undocumented immigrations. It would also require those individuals to pay a fine. Polk County Grady Judd held a news conference criticizing some news headlines that suggested his stance on immigration had changed. Gov. Ron DeSantis commented on the council's proposal during a press conference on Thursday.
