Orlando Commissioner Sheehan on Lake Eola swans | Full

Orlando Commissioner Patty Sheehan held a news conference on Friday, May 8, to talk about the future of the swans at Lake Eola Park.  The program is being paused indefinitely and the swans will be rehomed to various FWC-approved facilities. This comes after several swans died from avian flu, as well as the upcoming construction at lake Eola Park.
