New documentary highlights Florida's road to freedom

Derek Hankerson, President of the Loxahatchee Battlefield Preservationist Society joins FOX 35's Garrett Wymer in studio to discuss his new documentary, The Long War, picked up by the Florida Channel documenting the history of enslaved people and the Seminole tribe in Florida, along with the Seminole Wars where the United States Military, including then-territorial Governor Andrew Jackson waged conflicts against the Native American Seminole tribes in the early to mid-1850s.
