Avalon Park home hit by random gunfire, officials say

Neighbors in an Avalon Park neighborhood reported hearing several rounds of gunfire late Tuesday night. At least one home was struck. A window was shattered and a bullet was found inside. Some homeowners are concerned, while police investigate and try to identify the shooter.
