Deputies' rescue attempt of fisherman with medical emergency on pontoon

A coordinated emergency response unfolded early Sunday morning on Lake Woodruff after a 56-year-old fisherman from Astor suffered a medical emergency aboard a pontoon boat. The man was transported to shore and then to the hospital. Officials say that despite everyone's efforts, the man did not survive.
