A traffic stop in Orange County leads to a gruesome discovery Monday night. Deputies say they have arrested 2 suspects for their connection to the death of a missing man in Casselberry.

Orange County deputies arrested two people accused of killing a man whose body was found Monday in a wooded area near a library.

30-year-old Jose Antonio Torres and 45-year-old Jennifer Smedley are both facing first degree murder charges.

Deputies say they're accused of killing 58-year-old James Watrous. Investigators found Watrous' body along State Road 436 and Oxford Road in Casselberry, right across the street from Seminole County Library.

Despite the body being found in Seminole County, Orange County deputies helped because it was connected to a case they were working on.

Overnight deputies arrested Torres and Smedley on unrelated charges. That's when deputies say Torres admitted the two were involved in the killing.

Both suspects remain locked up in jail with no bond.
