Baby found unresponsive at South Daytona daycare
SOUTH DAYTONA, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Authorities say a baby has been found unresponsive at a daycare in South Daytona. The infant, less than one year old, was put down of a nap by workers at Warner Christian Academy Daycare around 10 a.m. on Monday. A few hours later, a daycare worker was putting another baby down and noticed the boy wasn't breathing and immediately called 911.
The baby was taken to a hospital but was later declared deceased. According to officials, the baby has some medical issues so no foul play is suspected. The case remains under investigation.
