New video shows suspect in fatal shooting at Mount Dora convenience store
MOUNT DORA, Fla. - A new surveillance video clip released by Mount Dora homicide detectives shows a masked man inside a convenience store, wielding a gun and shouting at the owners moments before a fatal shooting, police say.
Minh Nguyen, 47, and Khiem Ba Trinh, 56, were victims of an armed robbery at the T&N Market on North Grandview Street on Monday, Nov. 30. Both were shot multiple times, according to police. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene; her husband died days later. The suspect remains at large.

Words are muffled as one of the store owners tries talking to the suspect.
"When you see this video, it’s very hard to watch, because you hear Tina’s voice on the video," said Mount Dora Interim Police Chief Brett Meade. "You can hear the suspect’s voice. And there is someone in this community that is going to recognize that voice."
Police said the suspect accosted Mr. Trihn in the parking lot and forced him back into the store as the couple was closing for the evening. A customer went into the store after the suspect fled and found the couple before calling 911.
"What it shows is much more detail and mannerisms of the suspect," Meade added. "You can see the suspect's walk, the suspect's gait, how the suspect is postured holding the firearm, but another critical aspect is you can hear the suspect's voice."
Meade realizes it’s not easy listening to the audio but said the family agreed to release this video in hopes "it will generate the last piece of the puzzle that we’re looking for."
A GoFundMe account has raised about $50,000 which will pay for funeral expenses and help support the couple’s two sons.
Chief Meade added, "They’re holding up, like any 18-year old and 12-year old can be in a situation where you lose both your parents."
