Ocala Police investigate triple shooting

OCALA, Fla. (WOGX FOX 51) - Residents in a West Ocala neighborhood tackled an alleged shooter after the suspect attempted to flee on a bicycle, according to the Ocala Police Department.

Officers were called out to a residence on SW 7th Place on Monday evening, after an argument on a front lawn landed three people in the hospital.  Ocala police say the accused shooter rolled up on his bicycle and fired his gun at one of the victims; a second victim was in the wrong place at the wrong time, they say.  Those two victims were hospitalized in critical condition.

The suspect also suffered a gunshot wound, but police say they are investigating who fired that shot.  Police say, once the alleged shooter is out of the hospital, he will face charges.
